Dr. Riyaan Hassen (MD) has a profound interest in pediatrics, particularly in caring for families with special needs children and managing chronic diseases. He finds great satisfaction in assisting individuals in overcoming their reliance on prescription medications. For the past two years, Riyaan has been prescribing medical cannabis, offering patients an alternative option for managing chronic pain and mental health challenges. He is dedicated to helping patients explore innovative approaches to healthcare. As a proud father of twins and a son just 15 months younger, Riyaan cherishes spending quality time with his family, including their three dogs and two cats. His favorite activities include going on long walks and playing soccer. Riyaan obtained his MB BCh degree from South Africa in 2004 and is fluent in English and Afrikaans.
