Dr. Mitchell Baruta, MD, is a family physician with a special interest in uncomplicated mood and anxiety disorders. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Calgary in 2017 and is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) in Family Medicine. Dr. Baruta is actively involved in medical education as a clinical lecturer with the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary. In this role, he mentors medical students and resident physicians, guiding them through their medical training and providing them with valuable clinical experience. Outside of his medical practice and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Baruta enjoys gardening, board games, and designing escape rooms.
