Dr. Martha (Marli) du Toit (MD) has been an Obstetrician-Gynecologist since 2008, when she obtained her specialist training in South Africa. She completed further training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Stellenbosch. Following her training, Dr. du Toit moved to Canada and began practicing Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Bonnyville, Alberta, providing specialist medical care to multiple rural communities in need. She later transitioned to the Lois Hole Women’s Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, where she focused on high-risk Obstetrical labor and delivery. Dr. du Toit is fully committed to excellence in women’s health care, delivering transparent, informed, and collaborative care for her patients. She has been married for 20 years to her husband and is also the proud mother of two girls, aged 5 and 9. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, the performing arts, and community volunteer work.
