Bio

Dr. Logan developed an interest in public health when he moved to the United States and began working in the American healthcare system. Since moving back home to Canada, he has had the chance to compare and contrast the two systems from a physician’s perspective. While in university he took up an interest in biochemistry and nutrition, which led to him focusing on the effects of obesity. He then began doing research with the Calgary Weight Management Centre which led to clinical work at the same clinic. Now, he divides his time between work as a family physician and as a clinician in obesity medicine. A music lover, Dr. Logan practises the piano, guitar and cello. He also makes time to partake in amateur sports and enjoys hiking and mountain biking.
